Italy Shuts Down Child Porn Sites
If you’re looking for a country in which you can safely set up your child porn industry, don’t go to Italy.
The Italian ministry of communications has “issued a decree obliging internet providers to adopt systems capable of swiftly blocking out child pornography websites.” Italian internet providers have 60 days to comply with this directive, which comes nearly a decade after the Italian parliament passed a law against prostitution, pornography and sex tourism that exploits minors. The requirement in the decree is that a questionable website would have to be blacked out within six hours of an order from the ministry of communications.
