Cheap Hostels in San Martino di Castrozza

With all the mountains in the northern part of Italy, it’s not surprising that there are several ski resort towns in amongst the peaks. One of them is San Martino di Castrozza, in a valley shadowed by Dolomites in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. It’s a very small town, and most crowded with visitors during the winter ski season, but even during the summer there’s a series of gondolas you can ride up into the nearby mountains for spectacular views.
During the winter it can be challenging to find a bargain on accommodation here, as hotels fill up with skiers, but if you’re willing to visit outside the high season (or stay outside the town center) you can find a better deal on budget hotels and hostels in San Martino di Castrozza.
