What to Do in Italy in June
It’s June now, so we’re officially into the beginning of the summer travel season. If you’re looking for things to do in Italy this June, here are a couple items you might be interested in:
- The folks at Italofile have compiled a list of “What’s on in Italy” for the month of June. The list includes a summer festival in Rome which begins on June 14, flower festivals in a few different cities, a couple medieval events in Tuscany and the “Festival of Two Worlds” in Spoleto. Check out the whole list and see if any of the goings-on coincide with your Italian vacation – there’s nothing like seeing Italians celebrate something.
- Italy Magazine occasionally lists the various special art exhibitions which are going on throughout Italy, and they’ve put up another installment. Most visitors who travel in Italy will see the same art galleries and museums as everyone else; for a change of pace, if you’re a serious art enthusiast or you’ve been to the Uffizi already, why not try something different? There are special exhibits all over the country, so it’s just a matter of finding the ones that interest you and cross paths with your plans.
